*After thinking about this for some time I have decided not to fill or inspect tanks made from the aluminum alloy 6351. These tanks are all Walter Kidd tanks and any Luxfer that has an original hydro of 1988 or earlier, all Catalina tanks are made from 6061 and are fine. These tanks have a nasty habit of exploding while being filled and since scuba diving is a very safe sport, I want to keep it that way and get known problems out of service. Please help us get these tanks out of service and keep diving safe. Tanks can be dropped off and they will be destroyed properly.
